COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS > Corn Exchange, Liverpool
Creative city profiles
A keynote building which reflects the strong, contemporary profile of the city.
Our involvement in incremental improvement has extended over a period of successful schemes. A new first floor mezzanine with infill lightwell was completed in 2002 creating an additional 12,000 sq.ft of office space. A new basement car park was completed in 2006 creating spaces for 30 cars.
We have recently obtained planning permission for the vertical extension of
the building to create new 9th & 10th penthouse floors housing 9,000sq.ft of contemporary offices. The design strikes a stark contrast to the existing Portland stone façade with the utilisation of lightweight modern materials, including projecting metal shading devices and panoramic glazing.
