Crucial community outcomes
Following our initial design presentation to the City Education Dept, we were partnered in a Design & Build team, to deliver one of Liverpool’s first City Learning Centres, at Shorefields Secondary School. This Government funded project was subject to strict brief requirements and tight budget and time restraints. Construction works were a combination of new build and conversion works.
Integrated into the school infrastructure, the centre was to extend the existing IT and resource facilities for both the school & the local community, targeting the development of learning skills through access to computers, an extensive resource centre, teacher led facilities and day & evening courses.
The success of this development was greatly helped by the enthusiasm and support given by the Headmaster and Staff.
