EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE & PUBLIC BUILDINGS > St Johns Hospice, Clatterbridge
Health Care
The newly constructed wing to St Johns Hospice provides a purpose built centre for patients and carers utilising the enhanced Outpatient Services facilities.
The building is designed to improve the privacy and dignity of patients with the ground floor providing much needed improved consultation and examination rooms, Day Care facilities, assessment and therapy facilities. A new conservatory offers further day-care and lounge space for patients whilst the first floor provides future opportunity for St Johns Hospice to extend it’s service provision for residents of the Wirral.
The general ambience of the interior is calming, with soft lighting and familiar domestic features making the interior friendly and comfortable. Colour and texture have been carefully considered throughout the interior to facilitate the use of the building for those users with visual impairments.
